Convoy for Kids 2018
Convoy for Kids was started in 2000 by a few transport and logistics companies, which made up The Logistics Sub-Committee of AustCham Thailand. Their aim is to put some fun into the lives of handicapped and under privileged children as well as give them some financial support. The main event each year is in November when they take over 150 children from The Pakred school in Nonthaburi and Sister Joan's Klong Toey Slums Project for a fun day out. They run a convoy of commercial transport vehicles accompanying the children who travel in buses.
G7N had an opportunity to sponsor and participate in a fun day out. We’re helping to put some joy and happiness into the lives of children with physical disabilities.
This year, on 18th November, over 120 children spent a day, enjoying the animals at Safari World, Bangkok. The kids had an amazing time, exploring the zoo, feeding the giraffes and watching orang-utan, elephant and dolphins show. Such a priceless moment to see the smile and enjoyment of these special kids.
