Leb Freight Shipment of Five 40' High-Cube Containers Departs China to Beirut
A shipment of five 40-foot high-cube containers has been successfully loaded and dispatched from Qingdao, China, bound for Beirut, Lebanon by our G7N member – Leb Freight. The containers will make their journey via the Cape of Good Hope, bypassing the Suez Canal due to ongoing concerns over possible disruptions.
Once the shipment reaches Beirut, it will undergo the necessary customs clearance process before being delivered to the final receiver. However, given the current geopolitical situation and heightened war risks in the region, the shipment is expected to experience longer transit times than usual.
Shippers are advised to ensure proper insurance coverage, especially considering the high-risk factors associated with the route and potential delays. As always, monitoring the latest updates on the current situation will be crucial for all involved parties.
